Brian J. Stephenson has been a practicing trial attorney since 1988.  Brian is a former criminal prosecutor and criminal defense attorney who is licensed in the States of Illinois and Indiana.  Brian has tried every major felony and most misdemeanors as both a prosecutor and defense attorney. 

He has tried most types of civil trials as both a plaintiff’s attorney and defense attorney:  including lawsuits involving contracts, personal injury, commercial, equitable, fraud, civil rights and all major torts.  He was an in-house attorney for an insurance company for six years and ran the litigation in the State of Indiana for that company.

Brian has tried over a hundred trials as well as many arbitrations, mediations and hearings.  He is a member of the federal trial bar and is licensed to practice in the federal courts of Indiana and Illinois.
